The open-source version of Botkube will continue to exist, however support for the commercial Botkube Cloud & Enterprise is ending.
Dear Botkube Community,
After careful reflection, we have made the decision to discontinue the commercial offering of Botkube. Over the past few years, we’ve dedicated significant effort to developing the platform of an AI-powered DevOps Copilot and Kubernetes ChatOps management. While we didn’t achieve the commercial adoption needed to continue, we are proud of what we built and grateful for the community that supported us throughout this journey.
When we first launched Botkube, chat-based DevOps workflows were just beginning to see widespread use. Now, this approach has become an essential part of operations for many teams, making collaboration and troubleshooting more seamless. We’re honored to have contributed to this growth and to have played a role in advancing how teams manage their Kubernetes infrastructure. From simplifying complex workflows to providing real-time alerts and AI-powered assistance, Botkube has helped DevOps teams around the world work more efficiently and effectively.
The open-source version of Botkube will remain available at https://github.com/kubeshop/botkube, and we encourage the community to continue innovating with it. We look forward to seeing how teams apply Botkube’s capabilities to create new solutions and improve their DevOps practices. We believe that the community’s creativity and passion will keep the open-source version growing and evolving in meaningful ways.
To everyone who used, contributed to, or supported Botkube: thank you. Your feedback, enthusiasm, and trust have been invaluable over the past few years.
While this chapter closes, we remain excited about the future of DevOps automation and AI-driven support and can’t wait to see how the community continues to build and evolve with Botkube Open Source. We are confident that the spirit of innovation will carry on, making DevOps simpler and more collaborative for everyone.
